About aimodelvs
aimodelvs is a reference table for people who pay for AI models: developers choosing an API, and the people who approve the invoice. It answers three questions quickly: what does this model cost per million tokens, how much context does it take, and when did it ship.
Method. Every number is read from the provider's own documentation or announcement and linked next to the model with the date we read it. Where a provider has not published a figure we write "not published" rather than filling the gap from aggregators or news articles. Benchmark scores appear only when a vendor published them, are labeled as vendor-reported, and are quoted with the comparison the vendor itself drew.
What we do not do. We do not run our own benchmarks, host user reviews, or publish usage statistics. We do not use provider logos. Model and company names are the trademarks of their owners and appear here only to identify the products; this site is independent and not endorsed by any of them.
Updates. Each model is a single data file; comparison pages are generated from those files. When a provider changes a price, the file changes and every page that mentions it is rebuilt. The "data as of" date in the header is the last time the whole set was re-read.
Advertising. There is currently no advertising or affiliate linking on the site. If that changes, placements will be labeled.
Corrections. If a number is wrong, email support@aimodelvs.com with the page URL and the official source that contradicts it. Each model is one data file, so a fix usually ships the same day.
